(Cancelled) City Nature Challenge BioBike: Nose Creek Watershed
April 28, 2019 @ 9:00 am - 12:00 pm
Free
***Cancelled due to poor winter conditions!***
Hop on your bike and tour the Nose Creek Pathway section of the Trans Canada Trail. We are aiming to document as many wild species as possible that live in this unique urban watershed! Nose Creek has been heavily modified, but still supports a plethora of native species, even a few species at risk that we will look for!
Warning: The total distance of the ride will be around 15 kilometers with multiple stops in naturalized areas. We recommend this ride for participants over 13 years old because of the distance.
Meeting Place: Meet at the Calgary Zoo North parking lot at 9 AM nearest to Nose Creek. We encourage you to bike to the meeting location or use public transit (Zoo station). There is free parking available at Bottomlands Park (500 meters North of the Zoo parking lot) if you choose to drive. You can arrive by Calgary C-Train with your bike or drive down and park at bottomlands Park parking lot (free parking Map Link).
