City Nature Challenge Urban Habitats: Confederation Coulee Part 2

This is part two of a series of events hosted by Friends of Confederation Creek during the City Nature Challenge weekend. Part two will explore the heart of Confederation Park and everything it has to offer. Together, all of the confederation creek events will help to establish a baseline data set of biodiversity in the coulee. Have your cameras ready to document the riparian and upland plants, birds, and wildlife that utilize this amazing urban corridor!

This event is open to families and will be a great opportunity to meet your neighbors and explore your favorite park!

Things to Bring:

• Have iNaturalist downloaded and an account created on your smartphone or tablet. You can also create an account online at www.inaturalist.ca . If you choose to use a camera, upload your photos later on.
• Camera, smartphone, or tablet to take photos
• Water/drinks and a packed lunch
• Weather appropriate clothing and shoes (no indoor facilities provided)
