Weaselhead Flight by Night: Owls and Flying Squirrels

Explore the Weaselhead and its diversity at dusk and night! Keep your eyes peeled for beavers, owls, bats and even Northern flying squirrels! Bring your headlight and take pictures of any moths and insects so that we can contribute to the City Nature Challenge Calgary species count!

What to bring: Dress for the weather (wear layers) as no indoor space is available. Wear appropriate footwear and bring water and a snack. Have iNaturalist downloaded on your phone and your account all set-up for making nighttime observations. Bring your camera if you prefer to use that and create your account at www.inaturalist.ca. Expect to hike 5km!
