City Nature Challenge Gus’ Native Garden Tour

Gus has one of the wildest gardens you can imagine. It feels like a fairy tale with over 300 plant species (mostly native plants) that create a unique urban habitat for a huge variety of insects and birds. This will be an excellent opportunity for anyone who wants to learn about naturalized yards and the potential for urban biodiversity. Bring your cameras and document everything he has living around his home.

Target Species: 300 plant species, Garden Insects, Birds

Things to Bring:
-Have iNaturalist downloaded and an account created on your smartphone or tablet. You can also create an account online at www.inaturalist.ca Especially if you prefer to use a camera.
-Camera, smartphone, or tablet to take photos and make observations.
-Water and a snack
-Weather appropriate clothing and shoes
